Overview

TwoTakes ("the App") is a video recording and editing application developed by Mangrove Studio Charmillot ("we", "us", "our"). Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we handle your data.

Data Collection

TwoTakes does not collect, track, or send any personal data to our servers. We do not operate any backend servers, and we do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking tools.

All videos, projects, and settings created within TwoTakes are processed and stored locally on your device.

Camera and Microphone

TwoTakes requires access to your device's camera and microphone to record video. This access is used solely for recording within the app. No audio or video data is automatically transmitted outside your device.

Photo Library

TwoTakes may request access to your photo library to save exported videos. When you choose to save an exported video, it is written to your device's photo library. Videos saved to your photo library remain there independently of TwoTakes — they are not removed if you delete the app.

Sharing and Export

TwoTakes allows you to share or export your videos to other apps and services (such as Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, or any app available through the iOS share sheet). Data is only transmitted when you explicitly choose to share or export. TwoTakes never sends data automatically.

Some export flows to social media apps may temporarily use your device's local clipboard (pasteboard) to transfer content to the target app. This data remains on your device and is not sent to our servers.

Once your video is shared with a third-party app or service, that app's own privacy policy applies to your data.

Data Storage

All your projects, videos, and app settings are stored locally on your device. We have no access to this data.

If you delete TwoTakes, all app-internal data (projects, settings, recordings) is removed from your device. However, videos you previously exported to your photo library or shared with other apps will remain outside of TwoTakes.

Third-Party Services

TwoTakes does not integrate with any third-party SDKs or services that collect user data. There are no analytics, crash reporting, or advertising frameworks embedded in the app.

Children's Privacy

TwoTakes does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
